Spain’s Queen Letizia Has Been Transformed Into A Barbie-Style Doll

Life in plastic, it’s fantastic!

The Queen of Spain has been transformed into a Barbie-style doll.

Letizia has been immortalised as an iconic plastic figure by Russian artist Vasili Barbier, from the AFD Group.

And the miniature version of the royal will be presented for the first time at the Madrid Fashion Doll Show Convention from September 11 to 13.

The company says it’s modelled the doll’s clothing on two outfits previously worn by the Queen, according to El Mundo.

The top half of the toy’s dress is a flashback to the dress she wore to the coronation of Netherlands’ King Willem-Alexander.

The bottom half is strikingly similar to the Felipe Varela dress she donned to a dinner before Kate Middleton and Prince William’s wedding in England.

The doll will be on show between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the “Sell and Exposition” room at the Hotel Ayre Gran Colon in Madrid on September 13.

Letizia, who is 42-years-old, became Queen of Spain on June 19, 2014, after the abdication of her husband King Felipe VI’s father Juan Carlos I.

The couple have two daughters - Leonor, Princess of Asturias and Infanta Sofia.
