Spain has absolutely knocked it out of the park once more with a cracking Eurovision Song Contest performance for 2024.

Synth-pop duo Nebulossa performed Zorra, a song about a "vixen" and written by band member, Mery who needed to express herself to shake all the feelings of discrimination she has felt for being a free-spirited woman.

The band won Spain’s pre-selection show Benidorm Fest with ZORRA, which stayed in the upper echelons of the Spanish charts for weeks, also becoming the second most viral hit on streaming platforms globally during February.

With an incredible dance performance from two men in half-basques and thongs, the audiences were loving the raunchy and empowering act saying it was "peak Eurovision".

"That was peak Eurovision though, most excellent. #Spain," wrote one person on X. Another said: "EVERYONE VOTING SPAIN? YES RIGHT?"

This fan was excited: "Ok Nebulossa for Spain has an 80s sound, a Keytar and hot dancers!! It’s as #Eurovision as f*ck!"

Spain are always good value for an electric, crowd pleasing performance. Back in 2022 Cuban artist Chanel blew the audience away with her performance of Slo Mo. Read more on that here.
