Spate of burglaries and car break-ins across Gloucestershire in latest crime list

Numerous reports of house break-ins have been reported to Gloucestershire Police over the past week. Other incidents logged with the force include a theft of a car, moped and bicycle.

One report includes a theft of a car licence plate in the middle of the the afternoon from a supermarket. The incidents have been logged on the Your Community Alerts website, and it give details on how to provide police with further information which could be helpful in solving these crimes.

The Your Community Alerts Gloucestershire website not only gives details on incidents which have been reported in the area where you live, it provides helpful advice on crime prevention. Police also use this platform to ask for members of the public to come forward with any information about any of the reported crimes.

Colliers Wood, Nailsworth: Overnight on June 17 and June 18, between 10pm and 7am, a garage door was bent by unknown offenders which has allowed them to gain access to a valuable mountain bike. Local PCSOs will be available tomorrow 22/06/24 offering bike marking between 09.30 and 2pm at Mortimer Gardens.

Bruton Way Gloucester: The rear car number plate was reported stolen from an Audi motorcar whilst it was parked in a supermarket car park in Bruton Way, Gloucester. This occurred between 2.30pm and 3.30m on June 19 . If you have any information recording this crime please quote Incident 313 of June 19,2024.

Lower Street, Blockley, Moreton in Marsh: Unknown offenders have gained access to a property by smashing open the rear door possibly with a sledgehammer. Drawers in the property have been searched through but nothing appears to have been taken. This happened sometime on June 17, 2024. Incident 229 of June 17, 2024.

Grafton Road, Cheltenham: Unknown offenders have entered a building and gained access to an office by unscrewing a glass screen. A search has taken place and items thrown around. It appears that nothing has been stolen at this time. This happened between 9am and 3.30pm on June 15, 2024. Incident 098 of June 17, 2024.

New Street, Gloucester: A Dash Cam was stolen from a Renault Grand Scenic car in New Street Gloucester. This was occurred between 8.42pm on May 17 and 7.28am on June 18. Anyone with any information in respect of this incident please quote incident 70 of June 18, 2024.

Stroud Road, Gloucester: A grey Ford Focus was reported stolen from Stroud Road in Gloucester. This occurred between 1.42pm and 6.35pm on June 17. Anyone with any information in respect of this incident please quote Incident 405 of June 17, 2024.

Redlers Waterside, Dudbridge, Stroud: Offenders have gained access to a vehicle by unknown means and stolen two laptops in cases and a brown Ted Baker wallet containing bank cards. The cards have been used in local stores. The vehicle was parked in a private car park. Redlers Waterside, Dudbridge, Stroud. Between 8pm on June 15 and 11am on June 16, 2024. Incident 132 of June 16, 2024.

Pheasant Way, Cirencester: Two unknown males have climbed over a gate and smashed a rear patio door to gain access to a key left in the lock. The offenders have then conducted a messy search leaving a watch and items of jewellery on the bed.

It is thought the offenders have been disturbed by neighbours and ran off to a waiting vehicle. It is unclear if anything has been stolen at this time. Pheasant Way, Cirencester. At approximately 10:30pm on June 14, 2024. Incident 485 of June 14, 2024.

Bloomsbury Street, Cheltenham: A grey Piaggio Typhoon moped has been stolen without keys from outside a property. Bloomsbury Street, Cheltenham. This happened between 11.30pm on June 14, 2024 and 9.30am on June 15, 2024. Incident 149 of June 15. 2024.

Vicarage Lane, Brockworth: Three unknown males have arrived at a property in a black medium sized car and smashed a rear patio door to gain access. The offenders have then fled the scene after being disturbed by the home owner. Nothing has been taken. This happened at 11.05pm on June 14, 2024. Incident 497 of June 14, 2024.

Hazel Road, Drybrook: A Honda African motor cycle, blue with red stripes, was reported stolen from outside a house in Hazel Road in Drybrook. This occurred between midnight on June 14 and 0.30am on June 15th. Anyone with any information in respect of this incident please quote Incident 45 of the 15/06/2024.

Eagle Way Abbeydale, Gloucester: A burglary was reported at a house in Eagle Way Abbeydale, Gloucester. The house was entered via the rear patio door. An untidy search was made of the house.

The offence occurred between 7.45am and 2.50pm June 14. Anyone with any information please quote Incident 284 of June 14, 2024.

Upton Street, Gloucester: A burglary was reported at a house in Upton Street, Gloucester. The house was entered by forcing the rear door. Tools were stolen from inside the house, including a drill and a drill hammer. The offence occurred between 9.30pm June 14 and 8.30am on June 15.
