SpongeBob fans are in for a treat this summer as the new themed cafe arrives in Glasgow.

Featuring themed snacks, merch and the chance to meet the characters in person, Primark in Braehead are offering fans the chance to take a trip under the sea and "discover the delights of Bikini Bottom" at their themed cafe.

The SpongeBob Cafe has opened its doors (above sea level) popping up in store from June to August with favourite characters including SpongeBob, Patrick and Plankton also set to visit the stores in July.

Fans can rejoice as they will finally get a chance to sample the famous Mr Krab’s secret sandwich, alongside other menu highlights inspired by the iconic show including a pineapple under the sea bubble tea, kelp crunch waffle, and chum wings, straight from Plankton’s the chum bucket.

Fans of the cartoon can also shop from ranges featuring their favourite characters – SpongeBob, Patrick and Squidward - with options for all the family to get involved with the first-ever summer matching pyjamas.
