Stacey Solomon has shared her disappointment after Joe Swash's flight was cancelled, after she had shaved her legs in preparation for his homecoming.

The former EastEnders has been away on a work trip for two weeks - rumoured to have been in South Africa filming I'm A Celebrity All Stars - and was due home on Tuesday.

But Solomon revealed on her Instagram stories: "Fumin' Joe's flight has been cancelled. Can't believe I shaved my legs. Might have to wear a skirt on the school run tomorrow just so someone can appreciate the effort."

She added: "On the phone to British Hairways letting them know every minute counts when it comes to hair growth... I'm joking.

"Just Facetimed Joe. Hopefully he will be back Wednesday."

The couple tied the knot at their home Pickle Cottage in Essex on 25 July 2022.

They became engaged on Christmas Eve 2020 and had been planning to tie the knot in their back garden last summer.

But they decided to postpone their wedding by a year after announcing they were expecting their second child together after trying for “a really long time”.

They welcomed daughter Rose Opal Esme Solomon-Swash in October 2021.

Solomon is already mother to three-year-old son Rex with Swash, as well as sons Zachary, 14, and Leighton, 10, from two previous relationships.
