Stacey Solomon has come to husband Joe Swash's defence after he was scrutinised by fans. The backlash came after he shared a snap of his daughter Rose's packed lunch for the day.

The photo displayed an array of food items including grapes, carrots, cucumber, ham and a chocolate biscuit. However, the placement of a chocolate biscuit next to a piece of ham caused a social media storm. Fans voiced their opinions; one questioned: "Nooo, the biscuit can't be next to the ham".

Another commented in confusion: "What are you doing putting the biscuit on top of cut grapes next to the ham and a soggy biscuit? " Another suggested: "Chop up the ham and put in the space next to the cheese, ya nutter."

Lots of fans defended Joe's lunchbox creation, including his wife. Stacey said: "Omfg the lunch box police are out in full force today [laughing emojis]."

Another fan reasoned: "Looks lush! As if she's going to care that her choccy biscuit is touching something" and another pointed out: "These comments [laughing emoji]. Don't Joe and Stacey have seven children all together? I'm sure they know what they're doing."

Joe and Stacey are kept busy with their brood of threeRex, aged four, Rose, two, and one year old Belle. Their family also includes children from previous relationships; Joe has a 16 year old son, Harry, with his ex-fiancee Emma Sophocleou, while Stacey is mum to 15-year-old Zachary, whose dad is her ex-boyfriend Dean Cox, and Leighton, 11, shared with former fiance Aaron Barnham.

The mother of five recently disclosed that she had the assistance of her three youngest in crafting her latest fashion line. On the brink of tears before its debut, she expressed that creating the collection was an honour, reports the Mirror.

Two weeks prior on Instagram, Stacey posted a heartfelt message, confessing her overwhelming emotions alongside a photo of Rex, Rose, and Belle donning coordinated peach and white striped garments, jungle-themed prints, summery ensembles, and even some smart attire.

Stacey captioned the uploaded pictures: "My Heart ... I don't know why I feel so emotional. Even after 5 years and 8 collections I still don't know how I got so lucky. This is collection number 8! ! HOW? ! ? 4 years I've had my dream job of designer children's wear with @primark and I genuinely can not believe it."

"Each time they ask me to do it again I pinch myself because nothing is ever guaranteed and I just feel so damn lucky and privileged to get to do it.

"I hope you love this one as much as the others and from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU. I can't say it enough because without you guys I would NEVER get these opportunities in the first place let alone be able to do it over and over again."
