Starbucks has opened a new store in Lancashire creating 20 new jobs.

The store opened its doors on Friday, June 21, becoming an essential link in the coffee chain's growth strategy across the UK.

New store opening manager, Ms Gemma Barret, said: "We were excited to open our new store and look forward to welcoming the Blackpool community.

"To celebrate, we offered colour-changing reusable cups to the first 200 customers.

"We also hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on opening morning with our Charity Partner’s, Easterleigh Animal Sanctuary and Blackpool Street Angels, both of which work closely with the local community to provide essential services and support."

The new store in Blackpool boasts a 'Greener Store' specification, meeting standards across several environmental impact areas.

Customers can also expect the brand's summer menu which includes the new Crème Brulée x Iced Brown Sugar Oat Shaken Espresso, among other dairy-free options.

The drive-thru lane at the store enables coffee takeaways.

Starbucks offers a 25p discount to customers opting to use reusable cups.

The store’s modern design offers views of Blackpool Tower.

Visitors can also enjoy free wi-fi to enjoy their coffee.

Located in Rigby Road, the store will be open from 6am to  9pm Monday to Sunday.
