His son's diagnosis opened his eyes to how prevalent autism is, with many of his family and friends having a connection to autism.

Dave reached out to a number of top sportsmen acquiring an array of different sports stars from boxing, football, and rugby to feature in his match to raise money for ABUK. Some confirmed names include the likes of James Vaughan, Anthony Fowler, Joe Cullen, Sean O’Lacklan and John Fillan.

There have also been a number of unannounced special guests teased, plus many big raffles and auctions throughout the night. He said: ”I’m really looking forward to putting on a show and it's going to be a laugh watching rugby lads put their football boots on”.

Dave's ultimate goal is to work with schools in order to educate individuals earlier on in life on the subject of autism and have a positive impact on society.
