Steph McGovern may have left BBC Breakfast but the presenter is busier than ever since announcing the launch of her podcast this week.

The 37-year-old presenter unveiled the new show on Twitter to a great response from fans.

Titled, Not Bad for a Monday, the podcast will feature Steph along with her friends Claire and Geoff and they will be discussing all things work-related.

But they need help from fans.

Taking to Twitter today, the new mum asked fans to get in touch with some work-related stories they can discuss – with some hilarious replies.

“What’s the weirdest thing a boss has ever asked you to do? (I don’t mean dodgy/illegal stuff...just funny, daft, random stuff),” she tweeted.

“Looking for stories for my new podcast out soon. Tweet or email notbadforamonday@hotmail.com

(We’ll keep it anonymous).”

One fan replied with: “Whilst dismantling a cannabis factory, I was told to get in to the disused freezer whilst another officer was directed to check it........😂😂 the poor lad thought he'd found a body in the freezer.”

While another added: “Stand in a corridor directing people to a meeting room. Got so bored after 3 days I ended up quoting Python….’Crucifixion? Good, line on the left, one cross each’. At least it made people smile.”

Another follower’s wacky story reads: “I was once asked - genuinely - to escort a duck and her ducklings from Claypath in Durham down to the river. It was actually a real job and I did just that. It included stopping traffic.”

Not Bad for a Monday will be out every Monday from March 2. To listen, got to the Apple Podcast App, ACast or Spotify.
