Steven Gerrard responds as he's sent messages on special day

Steven Gerrard was sent two special messages today.

The former Liverpool FC captain was spotted partying last night at Taylor Swift’s final Anfield gig. He was the latest club legend to head to the spectacular shows after Jurgen Klopp and Jamie Carragher headed to Thursday and Friday’s gigs respectively.

Gerrard’s daughter Lexie was also at the gig last night, posting several pictures from the event on her Instagram and adding this morning: “Wish I was going again tonight.”

Leixe followed it up with two special messages for her dad. The first was two pictures of them together with the caption: “Happy Father’s Day to our fave. Thank you for everythin. Beyond grateful and lucky to have you. Love you so much.”

The second post was of her dad and mum Alex on holiday, with the caption: “Happy 18th anniversary. Love youse the most.” Gerrard shared both posts on his story accompanied with several heart emojis.

The couple married on this day in 2007 surrounded by close family and friends at Cliveden House in Berkshire.

Gerrard is preparing his team Al-Ettifaq Saudi Pro League ahead of the upcoming season. Former LFC coaches have recently joined his backroom staff.
