Stevie Wonder vows 'to tell the truth about his sight' this year

Stevie Wonder conspiracy theorists have gone into a tizzy after the singer vowed to “tell the truth about his sight” later on this year.

The singing legend has always been the subject of scrutiny, with some critics claiming that Stevie isn’t actually blind due to the fact he often sits courtside at basketball games and he once caught a falling mic stand live on TV.

Stevie has been the subject of conspiracy theorists for years.

Now the 66-year-old has added fuel to the fire after telling a TMZ reporter that there was something that he needed to tell his fans.

It all started when TMZ approached Stevie and asked him if he’d ever considered his own reality TV series, pointing out the amount of money that he would make from it.

Stevie responded: “I could buy me a few planes, maybe fly them.”

Stevie claimed that he’d flown planes before.

He went on to claim that he has flown a plane twice before and even landed one once, with the stunned journalist asking if he is going to come out and admit that he can actually see.

A coy Stevie replied: “This year, I will reveal the truth.”

Of course it’s more likely that the singer is just poking fun at the wild conspiracies surrounding his vision, but Twitter went into a frenzy following his revelation regardless:

Stevie was not born blind but due to complications following his premature birth, he lost his eyesight as a baby.
