What did you miss?

Anton Du Beke has spoken openly about his hair transplant, saying: "I have to tell you, it will be the best thing you've ever done."

The TV star was delighted to be reunited with Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway who he taught to dance on Strictly Come Dancing in 2007. Although they were voted out in week seven in the fifth series of the show, the pair had fantastic fun dancing.

Strictly's judge Du Beke spoke to Garraway and Adil Ray about his recent hair transplant and why he was choosing to share his story with everyone everywhere he goes.

What, how and why?

Speaking about his experience, he said: "I’m sharing my experience with people who are thinking about it and just reassuring them really, and saying 'Listen, do it. It's amazing.' And I have to tell you, it will be the best thing you've ever done."

He added: "I think it's important to talk about it. I wanted to let people know where I did it because I think they're the best. And also, already I’ve met so many people that have come to me and said they’ve been giving it some thought, and it’s just that thing where you go 'Listen, I did it and it was amazing.' 'Is it okay?' 'Yeah, I was on stage after eight days.' 'Were you?' 'Yeah!'

Happy with the results of his hair transplant, the Strictly judge explained how the procedure worked to the presenters and he praised it for being an "extraordinary process".

He said: "I had a little bit of crop rotation. So we moved it from the back then shoved it around the front. What they do is they go from the back and then they move it and then graft it in front. It's an extraordinary process, but they're brilliant."

Having loved being reunited with Garraway, Du Beke later shared a photograph of the pair hugging on social media. He wrote: "I love this girl! Kate Garraway. It does look like I may have over squeezed on the hug though."

It comes after Du Beke unveiled his new hair transformation on Loose Women. Show host Ruth Langsford, who partnered Du Beke on the 2017 series of Strictly, asked him about his new hair. She said: "Sorry, did you just say your new hair?"

He replied proudly: "Yes, do you like it? Have a look," explaining that he had travelled to Dublin to have the transplant done.

Du Beke also had praise for the doctor who carried it out. He said: "He is a genius. Well, it's all mine, I've just had it shifted about. He takes it off the back and it's been replanted down the front. I want to be like Bobby (Brazier), wafting in the air, gorgeous and youthful."
