Vick Hope has become the fourth celebrity to leave Strictly Come Dancing after the judges made a shock choice to save Seann Walsh.

Capital Breakfast DJ Hope was left sitting at the bottom of the leaderboard on Saturday night with 20 points for her Cha Cha Cha.

And things didn’t get better for Hope and professional Graziano Di Prima as they were given the boot after failing to improve in the dance-off.

Craig Revel Horwood was on their side, opting to save them over Walsh and Katya Jones, but Darcey Bussell, guest judge Alfonso Ribeiro and head judge Shirley Ballas were firmly in the comedian’s corner.

Speaking about her exit to Tess Daly, Hope said: “I’ve loved it. I’ve had the time of my life so I want to thank everyone for being the best possible people I could spend all this time with.

“What in incredible team; the hair, the make-up, the clothes. Thank you for all of your guidance and the judging I appreciate it and of course, thank you Graz, you’ve been so patient with me and helped me so much, I’ve loved every last second of it so thank you.”

Di Prima - who was the only one of the new dancers to get a celebrity partner this year - also gushed over the 29-year-old, telling her that he “made her proud day by day”.

Hope’s eviction came as Walsh and Jones, who performed the Quickstep, were saved. The couple have made headlines in recent weeks with their personal lives, after being pictured kissing on a night out.

Both have since apologised for their indiscretions, which resulted in Walsh being dumped by his girlfriend of five years Rebecca Humphries .

Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday October 27 at 6.50pm on BBC One, with a Halloween special.
