When is Strictly 2022's final on TV?

The Strictly Come Dancing 2022 final will air on Saturday at 7.05pm on BBC One.

In recent weeks, the live episode has jumped to Friday and Sunday nights to accommodate the World Cup, but there won't be any clashes this weekend.

The final is two-and-a-half hours long, finishing at 9.35pm.

When will the Strictly 2022 winner be announced?

As is usually the case for the show's final, viewers won't have to wait until the following night for the results show as the winning couple will be announced at the end of Saturday's live show.

Fans will see the champions lift the glitterball trophy and find out who the runners up are.

How can I vote in the Strictly 2022 final?

Voting will take place on Saturday night during the live final.

A celebrity guest usually reads out the voting terms and conditions at the start of each episode, with each couple's voting details announced on screen.

Viewers will have the chance to phone or text in their votes, and they can also vote online a set number of times.

Hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will tell viewers what time voting closes for counting on Saturday night.

What will happen in the Strictly 2022 final?

There are four couples taking part in the final - Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystal, Helen Skelton and Gorka Marquez, Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu, and Fleur East and Vito Coppola.

Each couple gets the chance to dance three routines - a previous dance that the judges have picked for them to try again, their favourite dance from the series, and a brand new show dance.

Although the judges will score each performance, Saturday night's result is based on viewer votes alone for the only time in the series.
