Yahoo News Strictly Come Dancing’s Amy Dowden shares holiday snap as fans ‘love’ her new look
Amy Dowden drew comparisons to ‘Audrey Hepburn’ as she shared a holiday snap with fans on Instagram. The Strictly Come Dancing star has been in Portugal for a friend’s hen do.
The 33-year-old shared photos of herself wearing a green two piece with glamorous wide-leg trousers and a halter neck-style top, against a sunny cityscape backdrop. The Welsh dancer paired the outfit with a brown clutch bag and hoop earrings.
She captioned the photo: “Rrrrrrrrrrready for the bank holiday weekend but most importantly @katiejanewallis hen!” It amassed more than 40,000 likes and hundreds of comments from fans and friends.

It comes after Amy’s battle with breast cancer for the past year. She was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in May last year, undergoing a mastectomy and chemotherapy treatment.
Earlier this year, she was given the positive news that there was no evidence of disease but will not receive the “all clear” for five years due to her type of cancer. But the dancer looked radiant in her latest photos - which also showed off her sleek pixie cut.
In September the dancer shared a video of her hair being cut off, which she described as “the hardest step so far”. Now Amy has embraced her stylish hair-do, bleaching it blonde.
The post was flooded with comments as fans ‘loved’ her hair and outfit. Instagram user Pippacatlover wrote: “Amazing, very Audrey Hepburn looking” Megbeth_xx added: “I hope you have a lovely time Amy! The green really suits you.”
