Strictly Come Dancing’s Katya Jones and Seann Walsh were all smiles as they rehearsed for the final – but they kept their distance from Katya's husband Neil Jones.

The scandalous duo, who were pictured kissing in October, reunited on the famous ballroom floor ahead of Saturday night's group dance.

The couple joined their fellow dancers and Neil, who was standing on the opposite side of the room with Katie Piper.

The official Strictly account shared the happy group shot, writing: “Look who’s back! Practicing an epic group dance for Saturday. Let the countdown to the #Strictly final begin.”

The class of 2018 will take to the floor during Saturday night’s final, which will see Ashley Roberts, Faye Tozer, Joe Sugg or Stacey Dooley lift the glitterball trophy.

Danny John-Jules also reunited with Amy Dowden for the rehearsal, after being marred by allegations he had acted in a “bullying” manner towards the Welsh dancer - something he has vehmently denied.

Katya and Walsh were booted out of the competition after a disappointing Viennese Waltz, weeks after their drunken indiscretions emerged.

The comedian, who was dumped by his actress girlfriend Rebecca Humphries shortly after the pictures were published, gushed over “the best experience of his life” as he left the competition.

He told Tess Daly: “When you watch it and hear people at the end say this has been the best experience in my life I don’t think you don’t really believe but this has been without a doubt the best experience of my life, probably bar the last few weeks.

“But generally speaking from the beginning it really was. I can’t believe it, it’s been amazing. It’s an absolute miracle that I’ve gotten this far.”

Katya – who insisted her marriage to Neil was “absolutely fine” in the wake of the scandal – added that it “wasn’t easy” but thanked Walsh for his “commitment” throughout the show.

Strictly Come Dancing is on BBC One, Saturday at 6.30pm
