Stacey Dooley is sounding off on those whispers you've been hearing about in-fighting among this year's Strictly Come Dancing finalists.

The idea of Stacey, Faye Tozer, Joe Sugg and Ashley Roberts locked in a Black Swan-style feud on the dancefloor might be fun gossip, but it doesn't seem to actually be true at all.

Digital Spy and other media asked Stacey directly about the reports of feuding behind the scenes ahead of tonight's finale on BBC One, with the documentary filmmaker stressing that nothing could be further from the truth.

"I know it’s sort of what everyone wants to hear – 'We’re all tearing chunks out of each other' and we’re panicking about this, that and the other' – but it’s just not been an issue," she joked.

"Everyone sat here, we’re all genuine pals. Faye and I were training together last night. Ash and I were messaging this morning. Joe’s my boy until the end. So yeah, we’re like a big gang."

The BBC similarly spoke out this week to call tabloid reporting of backstage feuding "total nonsense". Still, each of the four finalists will still be gunning to win when the Glitterball Trophy is on the line tonight.

Each couple is set to dance three times before the final votes are tallied - one Judges' Pick, a Showdance, and one Favourite Dance picked by the couples themselves.

The Strictly Come Dancing finale airs tonight at 6.30pm on BBC One, as one couple win the Glitterball Trophy. The special will also feature music from crooner Michael Bublé.
