Ellie Leach got the highest ever scoring Salsa in Halloween week history for Strictly Come Dancing’s competition.

The Strictly stars treated us to some spooky costumes, magical moments and even had a few tricks up their sleeves when it came to the lifts.

Layton Williams made Strictly history again last week with three 10s and this week he didn't disappoint as he pulled off a terrifying Tango scoring him 9s across the board.

Elsewhere in the spine-chilling episode, Motsi Mabuse declared Bobby Brazier will make it through the competition - saying: "You are a competitor going all the way."

It followed a dramatic week after Amanda Abbington quit the show and now joins the list of Strictly contestants who dropped out early.

Following the fallout of her exit, the stars rallied around the Sherlock actor and Abbington revealed she left Strictly for "personal reasons".

Eddie Kadi and Karen Hauer also left Strictly after being in the bottom two last weekend, while Zara McDermott survived the dance off.

Here's what you missed...

Will anyone leave Strictly this week?

As Amanda Abbington quit the competition earlier this week, there are only 10 couples taking to the ballroom dance floor.

Initially there were questions raised over whether all the pairings would make it to next week.

However, it is expected Strictly will continue as usual with one pairing voted out of the competition following the dance off.

The dance off will air on Sunday as planned. The date for the final has yet to be confirmed.
