Throwing up a handful of confetti, Stacey said she couldn't wait to "embrace the glitter".

Stacey has made Stacey Dooley Investigates documentaries for BBC three since 2009 covering everything from child labour to tourism, she's also presented Brainwashing Stacey and Show Me What You're Made Of.

The 31-year-old was also made an MBE in 2018 for her services to broadcasting.

All the celebrities this year have been given cheese-based nicknames to keep their identity a secret until the big unveiling.

This Morning presenter Dr Ranj Singh revealed that his nickname was 'Goats' when Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes announced him as the next star this morning.

Graziano Di Prima, Johannes Radebe and Luba Mushtuk will be joining the returning pros.

Neil Jones, who has served as a pro dancer in the group routines in the past, is also thought to be getting a celebrity partner this year as a replacement for Brendan Cole, who didn't have his contract renewed.

Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One in the autumn.
