Strictly Come Dancing: Who Would Craig Revel Horwood Like To See On The Judging Panel?

Earlier this month, Len Goodman broke Strictly Come Dancing fans hearts when he announced that he’d be leaving the show after this year’s series.

While you could never replace Len (since he’s a legend in his own right, of course), Craig Revel Horwood has been revealing who he’d like to see joining the panel after the head judge leaves.

In fact, one of the names Craig would like to see make a return is Arlene Phillips, whose exit after the 2008 series was shrouded in controversy when she was replaced by Alesha Dixon.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Craig said: “I wouldn’t mind seeing Arlene Phillips back on the panel. She’s got the benefit of years and years of experience and the gift of the gab.”

The long-time judge also revealed his friend Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, would be his ‘dream new judge’, adding: “I’ve been desperate to get a royal on the show and Camilla could be just wonderful. And I’d love to have another lady on the panel too.

“Would she do it? Watch this space.”

Then there’s Anton du Beke, who has already been highly rumoured for the job and, as Craig said, is ‘definitely a contender’, and, potentially, former professional dancer on the show, Karen Hardy.
