It doesn't look as though Strictly Come Dancing's Seann Walsh and Katya Jones will be allowed to move on from that drunken kiss anytime soon.

From Seann's outfit to the use of a guitar as a prop, every aspect of their Strictly experience is being analysed by Twitter fans.

After the duo performed a Quickstep on tonight's show (October 20), viewers couldn't help pointing out the awkwardness of one of Head Judge Shirley Ballas's comments.

Shirley told Seann: "Not your best dance today, but a good effort. You did a little misstep," before adding: "You felt it, didn't you Seann? Tell Shirley you felt it. I know you did."

A flustered Seann laughingly replied: "I felt it Shirley," while host Tess Daly pulled a face and said: "Glad we cleared that up."

Guest judge Alfonso Ribeiro – who was filling in for Bruno Tonioli – also seemed a little taken aback, joking: "How do you follow that?"

Tweets from fans included: "Oh dear that was a badly timed joke from Shirley considering Seann and Katya's hard week recently," and: "Shirley saying 'You felt it Seann didn't you?' Badly timed!"

Seann and Katya both released public apologies following their now-infamous smooch.

While Katya's husband, fellow Strictly Come Dancing professional Neil Jones, hasn't addressed the kiss directly, Seann's long-term girlfriend Rebecca Humphries publicly dumped him.

Seann and Katya ended up scoring a total of 24 for their dance, placing them second from the bottom on the leaderboard. Could they be in trouble in tomorrow's (October 21) results show?

Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One.
