'Strictly' fans moved to tears by Jayde Adams' 'joyful' body positivity 'Flashdance' routine
Jayde Adams has brought Strictly Come Dancing fans to tears with her body positivity message in a Flashdance-inspired routine that viewers called "joyful".
The comedian is competing in the BBC One show partnered with Karen Hauer and in this week's movie-themed special they donned Flashdance's iconic leotards to show that dancing is inclusive for everyone.

Speaking before the routine, Adams said: "This week for me is all about showing that dancers come in all different shapes and sizes. You don't have to look a certain way to make people feel happy.
"Two women with very different physiques, dancing together and nailing it."

Adams was beaming from start to finish in the routine, which included many famous moves from the film.
Judge Motsi Mabuse said: "Thank you so much for that moment, I think it's so beautiful to tell everyone that dancing is inclusive for everyone, all body types."
Strictly fans agreed, sharing that they had found the episode's closing routine an emotional one.

One viewer tweeted: "So emotional watching Jayde. What a powerful message to send to everyone who has ever been made to feel like they shouldn't or couldn't just because they didn't fit a certain mould."
Another person added: "Jayde is having the time of her life. Her positivity is so infectious."
Somone else wrote: "God I love Karen and Jayde… that was joyful."
Another viewer added: "Jayde living her best life and thankfully taking us on the journey."
Watching the dance was enough to move some viewers to tears, with one person tweeting: "Have descended into full, quivering, happy sobs at Karen and Jayde. That was so lovely."
Someone else shared: "ive struggled with body image issues for a long long time. I wish I had Jayde on my TV 10/15 years ago, but even to this chubby 31 year old it gave me goosebumps. What a hero."
Another person commented: "I've never seen someone look so happy and content to be themselves and it's INFECTIOUS. Couldn't love Jayde Adams or her energy more if I tried."
