Strong Winds, and Driving Rain as Storm Agnes Moves Northeast Across Ireland

Storm Agnes began to impact the south of Ireland early on Wednesday, September 27, as it moved northeast across the country and toward the UK.

Several areas of Ireland were under orange alerts, the second-highest kind, for strong winds, heavy rain, and potential flooding.
