Strong Winds Hamper Firefighters Tackling Parker County Grass Blaze

Home and schools were evacuated along a highway in Park County, Texas, after a grass fire burned at least 1,000 acres.

These videos from the Fort Worth Professional Firefighters show how strong winds hampered their efforts to extinguish the blaze.

The fire was 40 per cent contained by 3.45pm, according to the Dallas News. The blaze closed all lanes of Interstates 20 and 30 from Interstate 820 in Tarrant County to FM5 in Parker County, the report said. Credit: Twitter/Fort Worth Professional Firefighters via Storyful
