Love Island bosses are reportedly lining up a second celebrity bombshell to join the hit dating show.

Abbie Quinnen, 27, who is the ex-girlfriend of Strictly Come Dancing pro AJ Pritchard, is reportedly preparing to enter the famous villa.

A source told The Sun: “Abbie has become well-known in her own right and after her break up with AJ she fancied a fresh chance at love.

“Joey went in as the first big bombshell and Abbie is waiting in the wings for the call up.

“She has been in talks with Love Island for weeks over being a bombshell and has said she can’t wait to dive in and mix things up.

"When she was with AJ she found out a lot about Love Island through Curtis so she knows what is in store for her.”

OK! has contacted ITV and reps for Abbie for comment.

Dancer Abbie, who suffered serious burns in 2021 when a YouTube stunt went wrong, split from AJ, 29, in 2022 after four years together.

AJ's brother Curtis shot to fame during his stint on Love Island in 2019. He finished in fourth place with Maura Higgins.

It comes after Joey Essex entered the Love Island villa in a surprise twist as the first celebrity contestant. The TV star said he was “the king of Essex” who wanted to find his “queen”.

Along with TOWIE, where he shot to fame, the 33-year-old has appeared on shows including I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, Celebrity MasterChef, Celebs Go Dating and Dancing On Ice.

Joey has already caused drama in the villa as at the end of Tuesday night's episode, he was faced with the choice of which girl to couple up with. He chose Samantha, leaving her current partner Sam Taylor single.

The drama escalated quickly when Sam realised that Joey's move meant he was being dumped from the island immediately.

Emotions ran high as tears streamed down faces in the villa garden, with the Islanders coming to terms with Sam's abrupt exit, barely a day into their sun-soaked adventure.

While Abbie's villa entrance is reported, Wednesday night's episode will see a brand new bombshell – model and VIP host Uma Jammeh, aged 23.

Speaking ahead of her arrival, Uma said: "Now is a good time for me, I’m young. I’ve been single for my whole life, it’s about time I’m not single anymore. I’m ready for a boyfriend!"

Anticipating her new fellow Islanders' reactions to her, Uma admitted: "When people first see me, they usually think I’m going to be horrible, they are always surprised when I’m not! I’ll bring confidence, and I like to think I’m funny."
