A SUCCESSFUL cake shop has expanded to Warrington town centre.

Monia’s Cakes already has a store on Knutsford Road in Latchford.

It serves a variety of fresh homemade cakes that can be enjoyed with a hot drink.

And it also offers speciality cakes with ‘unlimited choices of flavour and design’.

But most importantly, it is known for its forest moss cake – a dessert which it based its kart off in Krazy Races which took part in Warrington earlier this month.

The business has now expanded and has opened a second shop inside The Hive on Sankey Street.

After two long months of hard work, the new store officially opened on Monday.

It joins other eateries who have moved to The Hive including Mamars, Krapow Thai Restaurant, and Annie’s Eateries.
