Sugababes’ Amelle Berrabah ‘To Divorce’ Husband Marcio Sousa Rosa

We’ve got some sad news as it’s being reported that Sugababes singer is ‘threatening’ to divorce her husband of one year, Marcio Sousa Rosa.

However, a source claims the couple’s marriage has hit tough times, with Amelle reportedly considering filing for divorce.

The source told The Sun: “It’s been a difficult few months for them and the marriage is on its last legs.

“Amelle is struggling to recognise Marcio as the same man she married. The honeymoon period is definitely over and he is spending a lot of time away from the family home.

“During a recent heated row Amelle told him she wanted a divorce, but as yet they haven’t filed legal proceedings.”

Amelle has not commented on the reports.

The singer sparked speculation that something was going on when fans noticed that she was using her maiden name on her social networks again.

The two tied the knot in a low-key Mauritius ceremony in July last year, six days after Marcio proposed there. Sadly, her family couldn’t attend her ‘perfect’ day.

Since leaving the Sugababes in 2011, Amelle has released an album (Summertime, 2013) and has taken part in BBC’s ‘Tumble’.
