The cast of legal drama Suits are reuniting in a special project airing during Super Bowl LIV.

The series ended in 2019 after nine seasons, but set a huge new streaming record in 2023 thanks to streaming on Netflix. It then superseded its own record in minutes watched in the US, making it one of Nielsen's highest-rated shows of all time.

Now, some of its cast – Gina Torres, Rick Hoffman and Sarah Rafferty to be exact – are set to reunite in a special advert (or commercial, if you will) for e.l.f. cosmetics during the 2024 Super Bowl, taking place on February 11.

In a teaser for the advert, available to watch at People, various celebrities are 'summoned' to court as part of the campaign. The cast includes pop star Meghan Trainor, RuPaul's Drag Race double alum Heidi N Closet, Jury Duty's Ronald Gladden and former NFL player Emmanuel Acho.

The celebs appear alongside Torres, Hoffman and Rafferty, who played Jessica Pearson, Louis Litt, and Donna Paulsen.

The two leads of the series though, Gabriel Macht as Harvey Specter and Patrick J Adams as Michael Ross, do not feature in the teaser.

The cast also recently confirmed a separate reunion in the form of a five-year anniversary panel at the ATX TV Festival in Austin, Texas, which will run between May and June 2024.

A spinoff of the show – separate from the short-lived Pearson – was hinted at last year after its streaming success, with Deadline reporting the series creator Aaron Korsh has been eyeing up an NCIS-esque universe expansion.

Korsh commented on the show's popularity after its resurgence, writing on X (formerly Twitter): "I always thought we were underestimated, but it turns out, even I underestimated #Suits. It's good to be the King."

Suits is available to stream on Netflix.
