Sunday Brunch suffered a very weird tech glitch today
Another week, another thing going wrong on a live weekend cookery show.
After last week's Saturday Kitchen on the BBC featured the host chopping his finger and a cameraman running onto the screen, Channel 4's Sunday Brunch went one step further by cutting away to a random press conference during the show.
Okay, it wasn't intentional, as hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer had no idea about the technical glitch, which happened while they were interviewing the band Slaves.
Fans of the show did notice the hiccup though, and questioned what the hell was going on:
What the hell is this!? 😂 #SundayBrunch pic.twitter.com/Rb0pTjWDKJ

Excellent sarcasm there, well done everyone.
Tim and Simon did bring up the goof after they returned from an ad break, joking that viewers suggested the seven-second press conference was an improvement over the normal service.
They said it, not us...

Digital Spy has reached out to Channel 4 to find out exactly what the mysterious press conference was, and what it was that caused the glitch.
We reckon someone might have just fallen asleep at the wheel, or desk, after a few too many Porn Star Martinis in that fancy new cocktail bar in town. Not that we're speaking from experience or anything (rolls eyes unconvincingly).
Sunday Brunch airs every Sunday (unbelievable, we know) on Channel 4.
