After years of waiting, we finally got to see Marvel's street-level heroes team up to kick butt in The Defenders.

The show united the titular heroes of Daredevil, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, but it looks like people preferred the individual shows rather than the coming together, unlike what happened with The Avengers.

Variety reports that The Defenders was the least-watched Marvel series over its first 30 days of release than any of its predecessors on Netflix.

The publication states that the show could only manage 17% of the viewership that Daredevil season two had in the timeframe, and that the number of viewers dropped by 67% between weeks one and two.

It is very important to note that these numbers aren't official, as Netflix doesn't release its viewing figures. Third party companies do their best to guess, and while they can give us a general idea if something is doing well, its unlikely that their percentages are exact.

Digital Spy has reached out to Netflix for comment on how well they feel like The Defenders has performed.

Even if The Defenders hasn't done amazingly well, the four previous Marvel series' were all in the top five most viewed Netflix shows, according to the same third party firm.

And if you haven't given it a watch yet, it's... it's alright.
