A suspect has been named after a spate of burglaries.

Merseyside Police identified a number of burglaries around the area of Upper Parliament Street where bank cards and electrical goods were taken between March 31 and May 8. Lee Dixon, 55, of no fixed abode has been charged with seven burglaries and one attempted burglary.

He was remanded into custody to appear at Wirral adult remand court today, Wednesday, March 22. Operation Castle is Merseyside Police’s dedicated burglary team, whose work is targeted at reducing burglaries and bringing offenders to justice.
