Aston Villa have been fast out of the starting blocks this summer transfer window. Unai Emery is on a mission to bolster his squad, already sealing five signings and two major exits.

Business conducted so far has in part been down to the club's mission to comply with Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR). To help fit within the Premier League's loss limits, the sales of Tim Iroegbunam to Everton and Douglas Luiz to Juventus were sanctioned.

But this hasn't prevented a recruitment drive, with Villa knowing they must make use of Champions League football as an attractive prospect for players to sign. Ian Maatsen is the most expensive arrival to date at £37.5m from Chelsea, both Samuel Iling-Junior and Enzo Barrenechea were secured from Juventus for a combined £22m whilst Lewis Dobbin and Ross Barkley have been snapped up from English rivals.

Gossip and rumours continue to have their say in what transfers will follow on at Villa Park, though they are not the only source to be wary of. SafeBettingSites used an AI tool to predict Villa further dealings between now and September 1, and it come up with some interesting results.

Only four transfers have been listed, suggesting the club have already conducted the majority of their business this summer. The one with the biggest fee attached will apparently be Jacob Ramsey's exit, moving to Tottenham Hotspur for a whopping £40m.

The 23-year-old is being courted by the club's former sporting director, now with Spurs, and the response up until now has been that he is not for sale. However, with the Londoners' interest likely to persist, it seems AI thinks Villa will eventually give in.

To follow, AI believes that Villa will see out the window with another three signings.

Almost matching Maatsen's fee, it is predicted that £35m will be splashed on AS Roma striker Tammy Abraham. He has been linked with a return to the West Midlands, where he was adored for his contributions on loan during the 2018/19 promotion campaign, and supporters could yet be treated to his arrival.

Finally two high-profile prospects are set to join Emery's ranks, says the AI tool. 22-year-old attacking midfielder Gabri Veiga will make the switch for £27.5m, only one year after making the ambitious move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli, whilst 21-year-old Valentin Gomez - central defender for Argentinian outfit Velez Sarsfield - will join for a £10.5m fee.

This AI prediction would take Villa's total summer spend up to £147.5m, whilst they would recoup £100m from their total sales.

Lee Astley, head of news at SafeBettingSites said: "If AI is right with its predictions then we are in for an exciting summer transfer window in the Premier League. Should some of these transfers come to fruition, there is sure to be incredible drama from now until the end of the summer window."
