Tartan Army adventure is over but we made our mark in Germany off the pitch

After 14 days following the Tartan Army in Germany the adventure is over.

What a trip it has been. We've spoken to hundreds of supporters since arriving in Munich a fortnight ago - and heading home on Monday it felt sad that this crazy adventure had come to a devastating end, so soon.

The Scots out here were ready and primed to keep this party going as long as necessary - and as we walked around Stuttgart city centre you could really feel the harsh reality setting in, that it was all over.

The tens of thousands of supporters who have travelled out here have been saving up for months, dreaming of what could be.

The dream is over now, and despite the fact that - once again - we've not been able to get through the group, there's not a single person out here who is regretting travelling across.

The Scotland fans have done themselves proud and they've made some friends for life along the way.

No Scotland, no party... and the Germans are going to miss us now we're gone.

They are sad to see us leave - and the remainder of the tournament won't be the same without us.
