Taskmaster stars delight fans with "shambolic" Glastonbury set

Taskmaster stars James Acaster and Nish Kumar have delighted fans with their Glastonbury set.

The comedic duo took to the stage in the festival's Cabaret tent on Sunday (June 30) to play a variety of club anthems for an excited audience.

"No your eyes are not deceiving you, it's James Acaster B2B Nish Kumar in the Cabaret Tent!" wrote the official Glastonbury Live account on X (formerly Twitter).

Shortly after Acaster and Kumar's set, festivalgoers took to social media to share their thoughts, as well as clips of the pair dancing on stage.

"James Acaster & Nish Kumar were a shambolic entertaining mess. Loved it," wrote one fan on Instagram.

"Simply the best thing I've ever seen," another viewer shared on TikTok, alongside a clip of the pair's "perfect" performance.

"POV James Acaster and Nish Kumar do a dj set at Glastonbury which consists of them queuing songs they like on a MacBook and it couldn't be more perfect," read the video's caption.

Another viewer took to TikTok to share a clip of the comedians on stage dancing along to "Thong Song" by American singer Sisqó.

"James Acaster and Nish Kumar djing Sisqo's thong song was everything I never knew I needed," read the caption, which went on to brand the duo as "DJ extraordinaires".

The Taskmaster stars were in good company on Worthy Farm this year, with Little Simz, Burna Boy, PD Harvey, Michael Kiwanuka, Keane and The Voice UK judge Paloma Faith taking to the Pyramid Stage over the weekend.

Barbie and Argylle star Dua Lipa headlined the iconic stage on Friday night (June 28), with Chris Martin's Coldplay headlining for a fifth time on Saturday.

American singer-songwriter SZA closed out the festival, following country legend Shania Twain's Glastonbury debut on the Sunday afternoon Legend's slot.
