Taylor Swift's princess-perfect moment in pastel pink J Mendel dress at Time 100 Gala

The Time 100 Gala on Tuesday evening saw several stylish stars sashay down the red carpet.

Among the likes of Emilia Clarke, Brie Larson, Naomi Campbell, Sandra Oh and Glenn Close, it was Taylor Swift who stole the spotlight in an ethereal princess-perfect number.

The pale pink off-the-shoulder gown from J Mendel's spring 2019 collection featured billowing statement sleeves, sweeping skirt and complementary yellow accents with feminine floral embroidery.

Perfecting the flawless fairytale look, the songstress' hair was fashioned into a intricate updo and accessorised with a diamante floral headband.

The colour scheme was also enhanced by the 29-year-old's contrasting yellow and pink dazzling diamante rings on her right hand. However, she did break up the look with a sparkly lilac manicure - adding even more pastel shades into the mix.

Since the beginning of the year, Taylor's Instagram has made a clear shift to a dreamy, pastel pink aesthetic. A theme, which Taylor has demonstrated with her personal style at the Time 100 gala but also previously at the IHeartRadio Awards to which she wore an iridescent playsuit and butterfly heels by Sophia Webster.

The image shift is thought to be a sneak peek of what fans can expect from Taylor's new single, which drops this coming Friday.
