The moment music lovers have been anticipating all year is finally here! Spotify released its annual Spotify Wrapped, giving listeners insight to their musical tastes and trends in 2023.

In addition to personalized trends, Spotify gathered data on the top artists, songs, albums and podcasts of the year. This year, Taylor Swift came out on top as the most-streamed artist globally with more than 26.1 billion global streams. She is also the most-streamed artist in the United States.

Followed by Swift is Bad Bunny, who has reigned at No. 1 for the past two years. The Puerto Rican star is followed by The Weeknd, Drake and Mexican star Peso Pluma.

In light of her achievement, Spotify celebrated the "Karma" singer by scattering clues around the globe in the form of puzzles and a celebratory video fans can watch after solving the puzzles. Spotify also created platform Easter eggs, where fans who listen to her music will experience the progress bar changing to match the song’s Era color and the progress button will turn into a sparkle. Top Swifties on Spotify will also receive a special share card and thank you message from her.
