Taylor Swift Congratulates USA Gymnastics Team On Olympic Gold

Girl power! Taylor Swift has broken her Twitter silence to congratulate Team USA’s Final Five gymnastic team, who just won gold at the Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Aly Raisman, Gabby Douglas, Madison Kocian, Laurie Hernandez and Simone Biles – dubbed the #FinalFive – claimed their second consecutive team gold medal with a commanding eight-point lead on Tuesday (Aug 9).

“Sending my biggest congratulations to Simone, Aly, Laurie, Gaby and Madison! YOU DID IT GIRLS!! #FinalFive,” Swift, 26, wrote in her first tweet since her drama with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

If so, Aly Raisman has already accepted her invitation, tweeting back in response: “I (love) your song 22 because I’m 22 hehe… And next time you’re in Boston lets go shopping.”
