A Taylor Swift fan has been left devastated after her Eras Tour T-shirt was ruined after a single wash. Danni shared a video on TikTok as a warning to fellow Swifties to be careful with their merch.

She said she went to the first Edinburgh date on June 7 and bought the official T-shirt, which cost £40, the day before. However, after one wash, the print on the back faded considerably, especially Taylor's name at the top.

Danni added that she washed it on cold with other dark items, but that didn't seem to help.

Danni said: "A quick warning to UK Swifties. I bought the T-shirt at Eras Tour Edinburgh on night one... actually I bought on Thursday. I've come home and I've washed it, cold wash, with darks... nothing dramatic.

"It is washing machine safe. I washed it inside out and the back has completely fallen off. The whole thing is sort of faded down here. 'Taylor Swift' is gone. The sleeves are OK. The print on the front is fine. But yeah just a warning to anyone buying it. Don't wash it guess!"

Some fans took to the comments to share their advice. Megan wrote: "I saw people saying this on the last leg of the tour and they recommended to iron over it with baking/parchment paper before washing it for the first time and mine has survived. Hope this helps anyone."

Chloé said: "I don’t understand how this is happening to others as all my merch has washed up really well."

Franci said: "I got the same t-shirt but the beige one with the black graphics and it’s been totally fine…idk maybe they use different print methods."
