Taylor Swift appears to be a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs's newest addition!

On Thursday, April 25, it was confirmed wide receiver Xavier Worthy, 20, had been drafted by the Chiefs. The NFL team shared a clip of the moment Worthy found out, with the athlete beaming while his loved ones cheered around him.

"The moment @worthyyy became a Kansas City Chief 💛," the Chiefs captioned the Instagram video, which was then liked by Swift, 34, who is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, also 34.

The draft, which started on Thursday, came after the former Texas Longhorns player ran a record-breaking 40-yard dash in just 4.21 seconds at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine.

Worthy aside, Swift is also now very much a part of the Chiefs family. One person who recognizes how much "buzz" the "Love Story" hitmaker has generated for the team is Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, 28.

While sitting down for Complex Sports' "I Got Time Today" game, where athletes respond to posts about themselves on social media, one X (formerly known as Twitter) user mentioned Swift's multiple appearances at Chiefs games.

The social media user called Mahomes "the best QB in the league" and said he "has a chance to be the GOAT," before adding, "but TIME Magazine cover? Taylor Swift (I hate to say it) generated more revenue/buzz for the Chiefs by sitting her a-- down in the box seats."

Mahomes, who was recently selected as one of the 2024 TIME100 Most Influential People, admitted, "That is true."
