Taylor Swift has surprised a couple with champagne on their wedding day after finding out their first dance was to one of her songs.

The Delicate singer sent a bottle of pricey Dom Pérignon as a surprise for the couple, who tied the knot on Saturday.

Edward McNoble and Margaret McNoble were left shocked when they received the gift from the pop superstar, posting a snap on social media.

A handwritten note from the Look What You Made Me Do singer accompanied the gift.

It read: “Rumour has it you might be using my song in your wedding celebration which makes me so happy!

“Here's to this amazing day of your continuing love story. Love, Taylor."

The pair had their first dance to Swift’s hit Love Story and walked out to 1989 song Welcome to New York at their reception in East Meadow, New York.

Swift’ sweet gesture comes just months after she sent flowers to another couple on their wedding day after she found out that she'd played a part in their proposal.

High school sweethearts Alexas Gonzales and Brittany Lewis exchanged vows in January.
