A BBC presenter gave her weather forecast a Taylor Swift twist ahead of the pop star's sold-out show in Cardiff.

The singer performed at the Principality Stadium on Tuesday, June 19, as part of the UK leg of her fully booked Eras Tour. Cardiff pulled out all the stops for the much-anticipated event and a BBC presenter - who is also a self-proclaimed Swiftie - marked the occasion by turning her regular BBC weather forecast into something all Taylor Swift fans would appreciate.

Dressed in a sparkly pink outfit and sporting face glitter, BBC presenter Sabrina Lee assured fans that Taylor was Out Of The Woods when it came to the Treacherous weather, cleverly referencing some of her songs.

In her unique broadcast, which she shared on social media, she renamed the UK's major cities after Taylor's songs - including John O'Groats, which became Dear John O'Groats in a nod to the song from Taylor's Speak Now album. Fort William was rebranded as Fortnight William, inspired by her song with Post Malone from the recently released The Tortured Poets Department. In other parts of the country, Carlisle was renamed Getaway Carlisle after the song Getaway Car and Bangor became Bangorgeous, in reference to Taylor's song Gorgeous. Liverpool was transformed into Loverpool, named after the Lover album, reports the Mirror.

In an engaging update about the upcoming weather forecast, BBC Wales weather presenter and self-confessed Taylor Swift enthusiast Sabrina Lee announced there would be "no Midnight rain" but cautioned fans to "bring a Cardigan". She took to Twitter with excitement, posting: "Our Wildest Dreams have come true, Taylor Swift is back in Cardiff tomorrow night! BBC Wales weather presenter and Swiftie superfan Sabrina Lee takes us through the forecast for Tuesday."

Taylor opened her Cardiff gig on Tuesday night by speaking Welsh to the crowd, sending fans wild. The singer kicked off the show with her hit Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince, followed by Cruel Summer, donning a dazzlingly sparkly outfit.

But, to the delight of her Welsh fans, she also treated the audience to a few surprise Welsh twists. She opened the show with a 'Hiya' in a Welsh accent, and after Cruel Summer she shouted "Shwmae!" ("Hello!") at the crowd with a wave. You can read more on this here.

Later in the show one little girl in the crowd was surprised with a once-in-a-lifetime experience by the megastar herself after she gifted her the iconic 22 hat. The show also left Taylor visibly shocked after a huge reaction to her performance of Champagne Problems.

She was seen on the big screen mouthing, "Oh my God", then took out her earpiece in disbelief at the sound of the crowd and mouthing, "What?!" She put her earpiece back before she told her audience: "This crowd in Cardiff is one for the books. This is different - you're on another level! I love you so much, thank you for that. You're just so beautiful - you're so generous to us." You can read WalesOnline's review of Taylor Swift's Cardiff concert here.
