Teacher Hospitalised After Accidentally Eating Hash Brownie Left At School

A teacher who mistakenly ate a hash filled brownie that was left in the staff room was rushed to hospital after complaining of feeling “sick”.

So far it has not been determined how the brownie got inside the room or who left it there but staff are being warned not to eat anything unless they know where it came from.

The unnamed teacher complained of feeling nauseous shortly after she ate the chocolatey treat at Spring Mills Elementary School in Detroit.

The 44-year-old tested positive for marijuana after arriving at the hospital but did not require medical treatment.

Two other teachers also ate the brownie but they did not need to go to hospital.

Kim Root, a spokeswoman for the school district said that students were not in danger as they don’t have access to staff rooms in the building.

An investigation has been launched to try to determine whether the brownie was left in the room by accident or was deliberately left there.
