Teenage boy in life-threatening condition after being stabbed in east London

A teenage boy is in a life-threatening condition after he was stabbed on Friday afternoon.

The Met Police is appealing for witnesses to come forward after attending reports of a 15-year-old boy being stabbed at Marlborough Gardens in Upminster, east London at about 3.25pm, the force said.

Officers and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service attended the scene and found the teenager suffering from serious injuries.

He was taken to hospital for treatment and his condition was described as life-threatening on Saturday morning.

Detectives have appealed for anyone with information to come forward and there have not yet been any arrests.
