Teenager Captures Incredible Shot Of Saturn From His Back Garden
This is the highly detailed image of Saturn taken by a teenager from his back garden in East Sussex - with a little help from his iPhone.
Schoolboy Marcus Reed managed to capture Saturn and its rings in super-sharp focus against a dramatic black sky.
The 15-year-old from Seaford managed to find the planet using the Sky Guide app on his iPhone before using his 12.5mm lens telescope to take the picture.
Keen astronomer Marcus said: “I took the picture at about four in the morning – I had turned on the app and saw that Saturn was visible, so straight away I put my slippers on and ran downstairs, setting up my telescope on the back lawn in my pyjamas.

"I was pleasantly surprised when I looked back and saw I had such a clear picture – Saturn is my favourite planet.”
Marcus now plans to be the next Tim Peake by planning a career in outer space when he’s older.
He added: "I have been interested in astronomy and photography for a long time, and I really enjoy it – I use my telescope every night when it’s clear.
"I’m in the air cadets – when I’m older I’d like to join the RAF then become a commercial pilot, but after that I aspire to join the European Space Agency as an astronaut.”
He’s off to a pretty good start!
