Tempers Flare as Pro-China and Pro-Hong Kong Democracy Protesters Face Off in Melbourne

Tempers flared in Melbourne, Australia, on Friday evening, August 16, as pro-China activists interrupted a gathering that was being held in support of pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong.

Footage posted showed two groups of people facing off, with heated words being exchanged.

Police eventually had to separate the groups, according to the footage posted.
