OnlyFans has a new creator in Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios.

The 28-year-old athlete announced on Thursday that he has joined the website "in a move to disrupt the way sports stars share content," according to a press release that promises the upcoming content will "reveal all sides" of Kyrgios' "big personality."

Kyrgios, who won his first Grand Slam title in the men’s doubles at the Australian Open last year, said it was "a no-brainer" to launch an OnlyFans channel.

“They are revolutionizing social media and I wanted to be a part of that," he explained in a statement announcing the new channel, adding, "Athletes can no longer just show up on the court or the field. We have to show up online too."

Now, Kyrgios is looking forward to being able to "create, produce, direct and own content," for the channel. "That’s the future," he added.

"I've been speaking to my fans directly for years and I know what they want to see."

Kyrgios teased "tennis balls involved" on his channel, as well as "tips, tricks, and behind the scenes" in his upcoming content on OnlyFans.

"But also they’ll get to see all different sides of me," Kyrgios continued. "Gaming, tattoos, my intimate side — it’s all on the table and I’ll be bringing fans along for the ride!”

OnlyFans CEO Kelly Blair said in the statement, “A lot like OnlyFans, Nick is a disruptor, so it’s great to see him joining our platform, finding new ways to share his content and express himself. We can’t wait to see what he has in store for his fans.”

Celebrities joining the platform to produce their own content directly distributed to fans isn't new, and several stars are bringing in big bucks on the website, including Larsa Pippen, Denise Richards, Tyler Posey, Iggy Azalea and others.

OnlyFans is a subscription-based website on which people can pay a monthly fee to receive adult content directly from their favorite content producers, ranging from photos to videos to online chats. The website launched in 2016 and wasn't built specifically to share NSFW content, but because it has very few restrictions on what can be posted, it became known for a large amount of adult content, including porn, content creators were producing.

Kyrgios, known for his dramatic on-court antics, saw his fanbase grow as one of the stars of Netflix's tennis docuseries Break Point, which documented his 2022 tennis season and includes a look at the early days of his relationship with his girlfriend, Costeen Hatzi.

In a January 2023 ESPN profile of Kyrgios, Hatzi recounted how the two first met: In late 2021, Hatzi was selling a mirror on Instagram, and Kyrgios reached out while looking for one to purchase.

They began dating soon after he showed up at her door to buy the mirror, and Hatzi told the outlet it was love at first sight.

The tennis pro has also praised Hatzi's support, telling reporters at the Citi Open in Washington, D.C. that "just being at peace" with life helps his game. "You know, I'm fortunate enough to be in a really healthy relationship that's loving, she's supports me, and we just have fun," Kyrgios said of his girlfriend.

Kyrgios, though, has had a tougher year in tennis. After winning the Australian Open in 2022 and making it to the quarterfinals at the US Open, he was forced to withdraw from the 2023 Australian Open one day before the start due to a knee injury. He underwent surgery in January 2023, and spent the entire year unable to play.
