Terrified boy, 14, robbed in park by man with 'Joker' mask on

A 14-year-old boy was threatened and robbed by a masked "Joker" in a Runcorn park.

The teenager had been in Phoenix Park, off Castlefields Avenue East, at around 8pm on June 11 when he was approached by two other young males, who had their faces covered. He was threatened by the pair, who then stole his red Scott Genius 750 bike, Cheshire Police said.

One of the suspects was described as male, around 5ft 10 ins tall, wearing Montirex or Monterrain clothing, and a balaclava with a "Joker" clown face on it.

The second suspect was described as male, 5ft 4in tall, wearing dark clothing and a t-shirt wrapped around his face.

Detective Constable Nathaniel Walkowiak said: "We are appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident to get in touch with us.

“The same goes for those who may have footage which could aid our investigation, or has any other information which could help.
