Will Terry Crews be Ariel's dad in The Little Mermaid live-action remake?
Terry Crews is throwing his hat into the ring for a The Little Mermaid live-action remake role, it seems.
Earlier this week, it was announced singer Halle Bailey would take on the role of Ariel and taking to Twitter on Saturday (July 6), the Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor shared a photoshopped image of himself in the role of Ariel's father, King Triton.
Honestly, we totally see it.

"Ariel's dad," Terry wrote, later adding: "Good thing I skip leg day because mermen don’t have legs!"
If he were to join the cast, Terry would be following in the footsteps of rapper and actress Awkwafina and Room star Jacob Tremblay.
Both are reported to have been hired for the film, with Jacob up for the role of Flounder and Awkwafina apparently cast as seagull Scuttle.
Bridesmaids and Can You Ever Forgive Me? actress Melissa McCarthy is also rumoured to be taking on the villainous role of Ursula.
It's a busy year ahead for the Disney live-action schedule, with Jon Favreau's The Lion King remake to hit cinemas later this month and a teaser trailer for Disney's live-action Mulan dropping on Sunday (July 7).
Nonetheless, Crews as King Triton may be the best thing to come from the Disney live-action branch yet, so everyone keep their fingers - and fins - crossed.
