Tesco shoppers can get free £25 to spend if they have 'online account'

Tesco shoppers can bag an extra 2,500 points worth £25 for free. The 2,500 Tesco Clubcard points can be turned into £25 of vouchers to be used in store, or doubled in value with more than 100 Clubcard Reward Partners.

Tesco has teamed up in a new Clubcard partnership with green energy supplier OVO to reward customers of both brands with points and savings. Clubcard points can be redeemed as a £25 voucher to spend in Tesco stores, or at DOUBLE the value with over 100 different Clubcard Reward Partners.

Mat Moakes, Chief Commercial Officer at OVO said: “We’re always looking for new and innovative ways to reward our customers for joining us on our mission towards a greener future, which is why we are thrilled this offer is open to new customers as well."

To be eligible for this offer, customers must be a new or existing OVO customer on any fixed or standard variable tariff, have a smart meter and pay their OVO bill by Direct Debit. They also need to have a Tesco Clubcard online account.

Mat said: "The cost of living remains a key challenge for households and our partnership with Tesco is one of the many ways in which we are giving back to our customers with rewards that they can spend how they choose. It couldn’t be a better time to join OVO and benefit from this partnership and our new rewards programme, OVO Beyond. ”

Lizzie Reynolds, Tesco Group Membership & Loyalty Director said: “Clubcard unlocks the best value at Tesco and we are always looking for new ways to bring even more benefits to the 22 million UK households that have a Clubcard.

"Thanks to our new partnership with OVO, many Clubcard holders can now unlock 2,500 extra Clubcard points, giving money off their shopping or to double in value with more than 100 Clubcard reward partners.”
