Tex Hoy set to play against Hull FC as Castleford prepare for spine adjustment
Former Hull FC full-back Tex Hoy is set for his first meeting against his old club this Friday night. The 24-year-old joined Castleford Tigers last month after 18 months at the Black and Whites.
Hoy, who played 23 times for Hull, debuted for Castleford against London Broncos and also played in their games against Leigh Leopards and St Helens, starting all three at full-back. He is now named in their 21-man squad once again, with Craig Lingard set for a big call in his spine after the absence of Jacob Miller was confirmed due to an ankle injury.
That could see Hoy step up to partner Rowan Milnes with Luke Hooley at full-back. However, it isn't the only option for Castleford, with veteran hooker Paul McShane having some experience in the halves. The Fords have cover at dummy-half in Cain Robb and Liam Horne should they opt for McShane, with Lingard making four changes to his squad.

Stepping in are Sylvester Namo, Nixon Putt, Sammy Kibula, and Jason Qareqare, with Louis Senior, Fletcher Rooney, Brad Martin, and Miller making way. Former Hull duo Liam Watts and Joe Westerman are also both included.
Castleford are currently sat in tenth place on the Super League table, three points ahead of Hull. They have two wins and a draw to their name so far this year. They also won the last meeting between the two sides at Wheldon Road last September.
